Eduserv is a not-for-profit professional IT services group, offering leading edge technology to education Institutions and public sector bodies. The surplus from trading activities is ploughed back into the education community via the Eduserv Foundation, a body dedicated to funding programs to help learners, researchers and the education institutions they work for, realise the benefits of IT.

Leader in secure access to protected online resources. Secure outsourced Identity Provision for large–scale communities to enable around 4 million users in over 100 countries to gain access to protected online resources from around 180 content providers.

E-resource framework agreements for education - Chest
Licence negotiation and management to deliver preferential license terms and conditions for software and electronic information on behalf of universities and colleges. 97% of universities and colleges benefit from at least one Chest agreement saving around £25 million annually.

Managed web hosting
Catalist accredited fully managed web hosting from dedicated and shared server infrastructure.

Content management solutions and development for the internet, intranet and extranets.

Eduserv Technologies Ltd

Eduserv Technologies Ltd was created in 2001 to meet the demand for Eduserv's capabilities from the wider public sector, and thereby to generate funds for its charitable parent to invest in education.

Integrated Management System - PROVE

Eduserv operates an Integrated Management System (PROVE), for all of its hosting, development, content management, access and identity management and professional services. PROVE provides a robust framework for operating working practices and delivering quality assurance. Eduserv achieves its objectives through industry leading customer care, the safety and well-being of employees and the reduction of adverse environmental impacts.

Eduserv Trustees

Eduserv is governed by a board of trustees, who also act as directors under the Companies Act. The trustees represent the beneficiaries for whom Eduserv exists: the education community in general and in particular UK universities and colleges.
