Our Culture

We’re proud of the unique working culture here at Eduserv. Our mission is to realise the benefits of IT for learning and research. It’s a goal we take seriously. Combined with the responsibilities of a not-for profit organisation, this creates a special working environment.

A unique mix

We’re a hard-working, friendly and supportive team with a shared ambition to deliver the highest quality of service. We greatly value our reputation for professionalism which underpins the excellent relationships we enjoy with many of the UK’s leading academic and public sector institutions.

Eduserv Second Life SymposiumFostering creativity and innovation

We deliver industry leading solutions across each of our core areas and conform to the most rigorous industry standards. We also thrive on innovation and creativity, working with our partners in education and technology to deliver specialist products and services - and encouraging the input of all team members to achieve this.
With just over 100 members of staff, we’re big enough to offer flexibility, stability and progression, and small enough to be on first names terms with everybody.

Left: Each year Eduserv organises a number of events that provide a forum for the education community to discuss issues related to the effective use of IT - our third Eduserv Symposium was held in Second Life.

Rewarding our peopleEduserv Go Karting

We believe in rewarding hard work, and offer competitive salaries, training and development, a generous holiday allowance and a final salary pension scheme. We have a number of other benefits, including company funding towards Staff Social events, discounts for local gyms, bike loan schemes, eyecare vouchers and more.

Right: Subsidised staff social events, such as this go-karting evening, are a great way to get to know our colleagues.

Supporting the local community

We recognise that our people also contribute to life outside of work. Our Local Good Works Initiative donates several thousands of pounds annually to a wide range of staff-nominated causes, providing an important opportunity to give back to the communities in which we work and live. Last year we added our support to an array of worthwhile causes, including football teams, allotment associations, junior cricket clubs and Neighbourhood Watch schemes.
